What to expect
Your plan starts with a consultation where Dr. Park examines your scar types under good light. Numbing cream is used for needle and laser-based treatments.
Downtime depends on the tool. Secret RF and Miin MLA often cause redness for a day or a few days. CO2 fractional resurfacing usually involves more visible downtime while the skin heals. Aftercare
- Keep treated skin clean and moisturized as instructed
- Avoid makeup until the skin surface has settled
- Use strict sun protection to reduce the risk of dark marks
- Do not pick at crusts or flaking skin
