What is nose filler?
Small amounts of HA filler are placed along the bridge to straighten or raise it, or near the tip for slight lift or definition. It can smooth a small bump by building up around it, or give a flat bridge more height in profile. It cannot make a nose smaller or narrower.
HA filler generally lasts about 6 to 12 months, though in the nose it may last longer in some people because there is little movement.
How we approach nose filler at Seongsu Melting Clinic
The nose has many small blood vessels, some of which connect to vessels around the eyes. If filler blocks a vessel, it can cause skin damage and, very rarely, vision problems. This is uncommon, but it is the most serious risk of nose filler and you should know about it before choosing it.
Dr. Park keeps volumes small, injects slowly and places filler with knowledge of the anatomy. He checks the skin color during and after injection. His work as a key opinion leader (KOL) for filler products and his 13 years of clinical and research experience inform this caution. He will also tell you if you have had previous nose surgery or filler, since that can change the risk, and if surgery would suit your goal better.

What to expect
After consultation and a full explanation, numbing is applied. Injection takes a short time, and Dr. Park explains each step. Mild swelling and tenderness are common; bruising is possible.

Aftercare
- Do not wear glasses resting on the bridge for a period the clinic advises
- Avoid pressing or massaging the nose
- Skip saunas, heavy exercise and alcohol for a day or two
- Sleep on your back if you can for the first nights
- Contact the clinic immediately about increasing pain, skin blanching or dusky color, or any vision change
