What is chin and jawline filler?
Hyaluronic acid (HA) filler is placed near the bone to add projection or length to the chin, or definition along the jaw edge. A slightly short or recessed chin can make the lower face look soft, the nose look larger, or the neck-jaw line look blurred. Adding structure can change these proportions without surgery.
HA fillers generally last about 6 to 12 months. Firmer HA products are often chosen for the chin and jaw because they need to hold shape.

What to expect

Aftercare
- Avoid pressing, massaging or sleeping on the treated area for the first few days
- Skip saunas, intense exercise and alcohol for a day or two
- Use a cool compress gently if swelling appears
- Avoid dental work or facials in the area for a short time if possible
- Contact the clinic right away if you notice increasing pain, blanching, dusky skin color or vision changes
