What is Radiesse?
Radiesse is made of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a gel. The gel gives some immediate support. Over time, as the gel is absorbed, the microspheres are thought to encourage fibroblasts to produce new collagen, so the skin becomes firmer and thicker in the treated area.
Because CaHA is a collagen stimulator, it sits somewhere between a filler and a skin booster. That flexibility is useful, but it also means the way it is prepared and placed makes a real difference to the result.

When Radiesse is diluted, it spreads thinly under the skin and acts mainly as a booster for firmness and crepey texture. What to expect
After your consultation, the skin is cleansed and anesthetic is used for comfort. Radiesse is placed with a cannula or needle. Treatment usually takes around 30 minutes.
Swelling and tenderness are common for a few days, and bruising is possible. Most people return to normal activities quickly. Collagen changes develop over the following weeks, and some patients plan a second session. Unlike hyaluronic acid filler, Radiesse cannot be dissolved with an enzyme, which is one reason careful planning matters. Pricing is explained at consultation.

- Avoid heavy pressure on the area for a few days
- Skip saunas, alcohol, and intense exercise for a day or two
- Follow any massage guidance you are given
